In just a few short weeks, it will be 2026, and America’s 250th anniversary celebration is afoot. The New York State Association of Towns wants to celebrate our country’s history by New York towns’ role in our nation’s history.
They are inviting towns to share their unique history with them. They are asking for any history over the past 250 years that makes our town unique and illustrates how The Town of Jewett has added to the fabric of this nation.
Jewett Town Historian, Elaine Warfield has put together a very nice video which was sent to NYS Association of Towns highlighting the Town of Jewett’s history over the years.
